Excellent service. The food was amazing and the dessert very special and unusual.
We thought the lunch buffet selections were very unimaginative and uninteresting. A disappointment for such a lovely, upscale hotel.
Boy was this disappointing. We’ve been coming to the Four Seasons for meals for at least two decades and we’ve been to Culina at least a dozen times since it opened.
The space is pretty and the service is friendly and nice, but boy oh boy was the food unbelievably disappointing on Saturday night (7/13/2019). Tasteless broccolini, unbelievably weak tasteless burrata and prosciutto (a $28 appetizer), cafeteria crude Jidori chicken Marsala (for $39), and spigola (a pleasant fish) ($48) with watery spinach and what was billed as white asparagus but looked and tasted like it came out of a tin can.
For $200 for two people (with no alcohol, just a reasonable $30 corkage fee for our own wine) I would rather have 20 meals at In and Out or any decent pizzeria.
Food was great, service, excellent, ambience lovely, and most importantly the level of sound was low
Birthday of a friend. I treated.
Food was amazing. Our server Sonja was fantastic and the outside was really nice!
Reece, Thank you for your kind words! I have to agree with you about Sonja, and I will make sure she is recognized for your review. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Best lunch buffet in LA! Fresh, healthy, delicious and pretty to look at. Love it!
Tara, We owe it all to our wonderful Culinary team! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I will make sure our team is recognized for this. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
The service was outstanding! Overall exactly what we were looking for: beautiful ambiance, excellent food and service.
Chef Luca, David our sommelier, and Renne was phenomenal. Great wine & food recommendation. Luca & David great job. Renne thank you for guiding us the right way tasting menu
Honestly, I was beyond impressed with the staff! They were so professional, so smiling and super accommodating as I wanted to change the table and couldn’t decide on two delicious dishes and they offered to serve two smaller dishes of them so i could taste them both! I find it really hard to find professional staff at most of the restaurants, and their beautiful attitude just made our experience wonderful! Oh and yes food was just AMAZING! I cant wait to eat there again and it will be SOON! Thank you Culina!
This was phenomenal experience for my daughters 20th birthday! Food was excellent and service was exceptional.
Spot is perfect. They even made me my own dish. They actually added to the menu
The overall service was slow. My husband ordered the rib eye. It was cooked to his exact orders. I ordered the caprese salad. Delish! I ordered the lasagna. Delish! Would I dine here again? Probably.
We went for dinner here last night, and everything was perfect! The atmosphere in here is beautiful and the surroundings are just as nice. Our service was outstanding and if we return to Beverly Hills we would definitely be coming back here!!
Sat at the bar instead fo table to get more attentive service. Was shocked to see such poor service from the Four Seasons!
Love the lay out of the restaurant. The food and service was great!
Excellent buffet Brunch!! Very elegant, fresh & delicious. Tremendous value too. My favorite in the city!!
My favorite as well! Hope to see you again soon. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Great restaurant, fantastic staff. You really do get what you pay for and I mean 5 star ambiance. It's a nice restaurant for an upscale date. Very sophisticated and modern look. Definitely more of a dressy restaurant. Spent about $160 between me and my gf with tip so not too bad. That price does not include drinks of any sorts. Would definitely dine again. Great food, great service. Love the ambiance!
Thank you for the kind review, we look forward to seeing you again! Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
This was our first time returning since they’ve remodeled the restaurant and hired a new chef from Italy. The food was phenomenal, the service was top notch and the ambiance improved...much more welcoming! Thank you.
Khali, I must agree with you on the new chef! Our culinary team prepares some phenomenal dishes, we look forward to your next visit. Best Regards, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Service and ambiance are excellent. However, the food quality is mediocre.
Love the atmosphere, excellent music, great food and superb service. Looking forward to coming back!
Emma, Thank you for the review! We look forward to your return. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
I love Culina: the food, the ambiance, the service, indoors and outdoors---it's all good. My grilled octopus salad was terrific: perfectly cooked and a very generous portion. My branzino was juicy and the accompanying vegetables made for a perfect combination. My three scoops of home-made gelato , all chocolate, made me want to order three more scoops. I can't wait to return.
Lisa, Thank you for you kind review and I can definitely agree with you on all of those dishes, especially the chocolate gelato! We certainly hope to see you again soon. Warmest Regards, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
The food was great and the service fabulous! Our waitress catered to our every need.
Lance, Thank you for your kind words, I will be sure to let the service staff know and we hope to see you again soon! Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Going on a Wednesday wasn't as quiet as I had hoped, but it wasn't noisy enough to be bothersome. My server Sonya was friendly and attentive, touting the Cinghiale Nasiri (boar over pasta) upon inquiry. The food was good but not great. The dessert, Millefuglie (vanilla ice cream with a flaky graham-cracker-like layer toped with black truffles), was outstanding. I should have known better but don't order still water. It's not worth $9. Overall, I enjoyed myself and will be back to try something new.
Dear Andre, Thank you for your feedback, I would also have to agree that the Millefoglie is fantastic! I look forward to your return. Sincerely, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Enjoyed my self.
I am happy to hear that you enjoyed yourself, we hope to see you again soon. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Fantastic venue. Food exquisite and service top notch.
The server Michael was one of the best we have had.
Thank you for the review, I have to agree with you on Michael. We hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, Cecily Hernandez
We love Pronto Market Lunch and the great services. We hope they can keep variety of great salads with the best ingredients. We felt last Friday's lunch (4/19) was a little moderate compare to usual "fabulous". Did chef change?
Thank you for your feedback. Our chef's are constantly updating the menu and sourcing local, fresh ingredients in order to create fun, new dishes. We look forward to seeing you again soon and hope you find our next dishes to be just as fabulous as the first time. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Great food, beautiful ambiance (especially the patio), but service lacking. We barely saw our server once
our order was taken.
Thank you for your feedback and patronage. I will share this information in order to elevate our service, and do hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
My client and I felt more like we were on a retreat than a business meeting. The patio was relaxing and service excellent. The lunch buffet was delicious. Culina is a perfect place for a business lunch.
Dear Carolyn, Thank you for you kind words, we are pleased to hear you found Culina to be an excellent retreat for your business meeting. We hope to see you return soon and enjoy our patio again for lunch or even a relaxing dinner. Cheers, Cecily Hernandez Culina Assistant Manager
Wonderful Chef!! One of the top 5 meals we have ever had and that includes Europe. Thank you for a memorable evening!!
A terrific evening! I hadn't been to Culina in a few years and wondered if it had maintained the standard from previous visits. It most certainly has! Everything was great, especially our waiter, Michael. He made a great evening even better!
As an Italian guy coming from Tuscany, I can guarantee that the food offered is outstanding in every single aspect: Plates presentation looks great and the quality of the food is even better!!!
I will go back to Culina ASAP!!!!!
I think the food has changed to a different type. I liked the food better a few years back
Excellent service and ambience. Fodd is hit and miss--depends on what you order. It's expensive for what you get, unless you have a BBE.
Culina is absolutely outstanding! Chef Luca Moriconi plays drums in your palate with his dishes. His manners are truly unique and the feeling of being at home is intence as soon as you walk into the restaurant. The food at Culina is Italy at its best! Everything you could ever want of that country is present in every bite of Chef Luca's Butternut Squash and Rosemary Risotto. Guys, it is served in a handcrafted half wheel of Piave Vecchio cheese, on top of one of the best Aceto Balsamico di Modena in the world. That dish alone is definitively worth a reservation at Cuilna but do not leave before you've asked for Truffles on Dessert and tasted the Peperoni Cruschi.
Service was unbelievable, I almost forgot I was in a restaurant in LA at some point. I will definitively come back there, at Culina I had one of the best food experience of my life.
Grazie Chef Luca!
Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and service. Definitely recommend.
Culina is a lovely spot and look forward to returning. Our food was very good and the service
was perfect. It's a bit pricey, but restaurants in fancy hotels like the Four Seasons often are.
