Nice luncheon outdoor seating, felt comfortable. Julian our server was very courteous. Overall, a very nice time for the three of us.
For us we would consider Cuistot the best restaurant in the Palm Springs environment. The owner/chef provides a ‘classic’ French cooking experience without being ‘stuffy’ or too formal. Great food, very caring and attentive service.
A special ‘high five’ to my ‘go to’ waiter, Jamie, the best. A great value for the service, environment and food.
Always fabulous food and enjoyable evening. Chef is personable and greets guest. Servers are attentive but do not rush you.
Birthday celebration for my wife during Covid...so just the two of us. Everything was very good. I love the cassoulet and my wife loves the mushroom soup. She was also happy with her steak frites. Everything was very nice, patio seating and properly distance from others made us feel comfortable.
This was only our 3rd Visit to this Restaurant, because of Covid we have just not been goin out at all. We made this a special night with friends that have just recently moved to the desert. It was outstanding and we enjoyed everything very much. The Covid restrictions and precautions were in place and we ate outside. It was an excellent choice for evening and we will def. be back as soon as possible. Our server was excellent.
Cuistot gives us our “France” fix since we cannot travel this year. We celebrated our 61st Anniversary at Cuistot and the evening was perfect, a beautiful lovely desert night on their balcony/terrace with outstanding French food and a charming waiter. We have celebrated many anniversaries at Cuistot. It is a special restaurant! We discovered it in 1994 in its original location after a trip to France and it brought back happy memories! Still does!
We had an excellent server sand that is what makes the dining experience memorable.
Everyone who worked there was super friendly and service was great. Food was excellent.
Wonderful meal and a nice break from the confines of COVID isolation. Sat outside on their patio with a very nice fireplace and plenty of space heaters going. Very comfortable. Food was outstanding. Enjoyed a veal chop that was one of the best I've ever had. We'll be back for special occasions.
Lovely evening. Glad it wasn’t crowded. Delicious food.
Birthday celebration dinner. Wonderful
Such a wonderful place. Eating on the patio is like being in Europe with all the outside lighting. The Dover Sole is the best. Mushroom soup fantastic. Worth the money for a great evening.
Highly recommend this lovely and delicious restaurant.
4 gals for a birthday lunch . Seated promptly on the beautiful outside patio. Delicious wines and Prosecco by the glass- while we all dined on tasty salads; bay shrimp and ahi tuna. The wonderful Floating Island for dessert- and of course, fashion show Friday all made it a perfect experience. Thank you
We are regular diners at Cuistot. My only comment is that overall it’s more of the same great food, service, ambiance and properly socially distanced dining.
Food is very good and the menu offers something for everyone. The back patio is very nice with adequate spacing between tables and a nice fireplace and heat lamps at night. We also have had lunch there several times an there is a water feature which virtually eliminates any street noise you may hear. Unfortunately, since they reopened their service is very inconsistent and slow. We waited 15 minutes after being seated before someone came by with a cocktail and wine list so that we could order. Once they came we ordered our cocktails as well as our entire meal as we were concerned we'd never get our order in. If you order desert, expect to wait at least 20-25 minutes for it. There is a chocolate desert on the menu that indicates it will take 12-15 minutes , so we ordered something else but it took even longer and it wasn't busy at all. They seem to be limited in the number of wait staff which is probably the issue, or maybe its the kitchen? I hope they figure it out as I love the food and ambiance.
We had the 'bento box' french style lunch..small portions soup, salad, pasta, lemon tart. Delicious.
One of our favorites.....outstanding food and ambience. Outdoor dining at it’s finest.
Pricey but the best restaurant in the Valley. Very authentic French food and superb, attentive service and warm hospitality. An memorable Wedding Anniversary.
Quenelles were savory and delicious. Carpaccio was delicate and tender, though the arugula overpowered the presentation.
Duck Brest and Veal Chop were prepared to perfection. Ample and well-priced wine list with gracious and knowledgeable sommelier.
Lovely American Songbook playlist at perfect volume.
Only quibble, outdoor patio close to 111, so traffic and sirens interfere with the ambiance.
But all in all, a delicious, memorable Gallic evening in the American Desert.
Great food, wine list & service
We love Cuistot. Terrific food, wonderful patio, very friendly and efficient staff.
It was horrible.
Bonnie, the host that had called us to confirm our reservation, was the one who sat us. She was vague, where she sat us as if she could care less or be bothered. Our server did not know the menu or what was right. We were rushed in and out. I recommend that you choose downtown for more and better options.
Great food fairly priced. First rate service. Chef owner charming.
Our dinner, service and ambiance was excellent. We dine there regularly on special occasions and sometimes enjoy their happy hour on the front patio. Lovely, elegant, tasteful restaurant.
The food was amazing !
WE were very disappointed. We understand some of the challenges associated with the current business environment but that is no reason to lower quality. We were somewhat regular at Cuistot. It has always been expensive but we felt we got something for our money. This time not the case. We will not likely go back.
Driving through Palm Desert after a 6,000 mile road trip, we were so happy to be back at Cuistot and they didn’t disappoint. Food was outstanding, as always, and the service was friendly and professional, if a little slow, due to a sudden rush of.customers. We will always return there when in the area.
Lamb was really great. Our friend had the pork tenderloin and it was over cooked. My husbands sole was delish! A great ding experience
They tried to serve our entree’s before we had eaten our salads. They then kept them warm, actually 🥵 hot, which had to have been a half an hour. Henceforth the fish slightly dry and the sauce over cooked. Other than that all was good.
Our favorite restaurant
We had a lovely birthday dinner. Great food and wine recommendations from our knowledgeable waiter and sommelier. We’ll definitely return
Cuistot’s is the BEST restaurant in area!!
Food is delicious, elegant, and consistent.
Service above all!! Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Great food. Wonderful ambiance. Extensive and varied wine list.
4 instead of 5 stars ... the food was lukewarm by the time it was served ... in our case mussels and isles flottante, the sand-dabs were perfect ... the quality of the food is excellent, service attentive ... too bad about the temperature of the food served
Food was delicious and the servers were very attentive.
Wonderful welcome, good sommelier, and outstanding appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Very romantic with the outdoor fireplace and waterfall below. Gentlemen if you want to earn points take her here!!
First time out to a restaurant since the pandemic hit. Excellence food, exemplary service
Great dining environment. Chef is wonderful and visits table as time permits. A must visit for desert visitors and desserts are a must try one. A bit pricey but there are moderate priced items on the dinner menu. You will not be disappointed.
So surprised at how much I disliked their halibut. It was $57 ala carte and tasted as if it had been frozen and sitting around a while. The ONLY reason I didn’t send it back was because it would have destroyed the cadence of the table. The waiter, when we asked for separate checks said” “we can’t do that because of COVID “. What?
Duck meals were exceptional. Sommelier Farouk is so amazing, he needs to be in a restaurant worthy of his exceptional knowledge.
Final bill was well over $600 without a bottle of wine (we ordered by the glass, some of us don’t drink) and with tip: $700+++.
