We had such a lovely dinner last night at Albert's in the private room. We were a group of 8 and it was the perfect number. Room was gorgeous, it felt intimate but not cramped at all. Food as always, was delicious as was service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

I so badly wanted to love this place and give it 5 stars for everything but the service let it down. On the positive side - 2 staff members were friendly, decor is great and food is good. On the negative side - 1 staff member was unfriendly and rude and difficult to get him/her/they to take a drink order from all at the table they only took one person’s order. They were dismissive to the point of arrogant. Food was extremely slow to come out, took over an hr for the first course. One waiter kept forgetting one person in our group was vegetarian and kept forgetting to bring a non meat dish for her, we put it in the booking and then mentioned it at the beginning of the meal, and had to ask agin twice more during the meal. The food took a long time to come out so we had lost our appetite by the second last course which was a shame as the food was delicious I’d recommend this venue but perhaps when they have settled into a routine which is less frantic and service is better (but tbh if I saw that staff member who was rude again, I’d go elsewhere)
