The food, service and atmosphere is amazing. Great place for a date night or with friends. Can definitely feel the love and passion with in the food and ensuring the customers happiness and comfort

Amazing food, fantastic staff - perfect experience.

Even though Olivine is a wine bar, I mostly go there for the delicious food. The steak, chicken, terrine & pate, the brussels sprouts (swoon) and fries are all great. The wine's always good too. The fitout looks lovely, but sadly the designers prioritised form over function - the cell bench seating is really uncomfortable! Nevertheless, the ambience is great and I like the idea of us all collectively creating a new, more positive cultural memory to sit alongside the history of the place. If you haven't been, I definitely recommend a visit. Do leave time to check out the historical info in the unrestored cells; it feels important to honor and try to understand the story of the place while we're there.
