- VVickNew York City •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoFood was good but my steak was overcooked which was a shame and the salmon was salty but tasty. The place is very loud so difficult to talk and our service was excellent . I also had made a note on the reservation that we were there to celebrate my mothers 95th birthday but they didn’t even acknowledge itMore infoRein OsteriaPrice: Expensive• Steak• Danbury•4.7

- PPatriciaNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe were truly elated with our experience at this gorgeous new venue, Valley Restaurant, recently opened as one of the first delights of our beloved Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company’s new home in the hills of Garrison overlooking The Hudson River. They perform the classic plays of Shakespeare and the new works by great playwrights under the stars, often with nature as a grounding character. The restaurant and inn are now open and serving guests while the gorgeous new open hilltop theater - plans of which are displayed on outdoor murals- with its great wooden sculptural beams arching over the open theater stage will premiere next year. This dreamy new theater park has the expansive feel of a sublime venue, like Tanglewood, the beloved outdoor space dedicated to world class music, this one quietly but powerfully exuding the anticipation and excitement of great theater outdoors. Back to our fabulous meal -deliciously prepared farm to table ingredients exceeded our dreams as well , from the Shakespearean inspired mocktails, crisp and savory appetizers of crudite served with tasty pesto and bean spreads, fresh baked breads, a lightly sautéed side of fresh greens and shiitake mushrooms , fresh salads delicately dressed, to the flaky sea bass steaks in butter and fresh herbs, finally a delicious hazelnut mouse dessert, paired with fresh watermelon and berry salad , and coffee dark , aromatic and rich. The staff were warm and attentive, obviously proud and thrilled to serve in this beautiful new setting! I understand and share their pride and joy!More infoValley RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• West Point•4.7

- AAmandaNew York City •10 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 6, 2025The cacio e pepe is great, overall a nice place, they do not rush you at all which is lovely. $30 for pasta is a bit steep, but they cook it in front of you in a wheel of cheese which is cool. We will definitely go back for another special occasionMore infoCastelloPrice: Expensive• Italian• Danbury•4.9
