Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Don’t expect a traditional restaurant menu, our kitchen offers up a variety of smaller, seasonal plates that are designed to share. Order one or two as a snack or combine several to create a more substantial meal.

Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve the best wines we can find at any given price point, from Australia and around the world.We believe strongly in the idea that wine should taste like fruit and minerals instead of oak and alcohol. As always, just outstanding. Lovely food, an exceptional and changing wine list, lovely cocktails, and consistent, first class service. I also greatly appreciated the fact that I had mistakenly booked for the next Friday and, despite being busy, a spot was found for us. Albert’s is simply a gem!

We spent a couple of hours at TC on Anzac Day, it was cosy afternoon, always a good vibe. Downside is the fact that it is almost impossible to find a glass of recognisable local plonk, most on the board are European. While it is good to be introduced to the wider wine world, different grape varieties it would be nice if some good Australian drops at reasonable price made the board more often.
