A self trained chef on his own serving the best food I’ve hade in quite a while especially in a busy restaurant, he was not phased. Very considered wine list but only had one rose.More infoBar librettoPrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Ascot Vale•4.6
- CCarolMelbourne •6 reviews5.0Dined on May 16, 2025Il Caminetto is a local authentic Italian restaurant. The staff are brilliant helpful & welcoming. The food was delicious, it was served hot & promptly. There was a good selection of authentic Italian dishes. My friends chose the parmigiana Della nonna & I had the calamalata al sugo di capretto, followed by coffees canolli & an affogato. We were there for lunch. The verdict, perfetto it was all wonderful. A great place to eat local food in a lovely unpretentious restaurant.More infoIl CaminettoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Moonee Ponds•4.7

- MMeganMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 17, 2025A lovely local treat! Went with a friend for a drink, stayed for a few and a tasty antipasti board. Seats in the forecourt if you don't mind being near cars as they pop by to pick up their bottle shop supplies (it's quiet and great people watching), plus tables inside amongst their great selection of wines. Staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive. Very kindly saw the sunset was right in my eyes, so moved the big umbrellas o I could stop squinting without being asked. Great attention to detailMore infoPrimrose & VinePrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Essendon•4.8
