This was the second time we had been here. Food was delicious, lots of veggie options available. Nice wine and good atmosphere.

We were the first there for lunch on Tuesday. Service was very attentive without rushing us at all. The food was extremely good and inventive. A very pleasant experience. We’ll make the Union our default place in Rye.

Excellent meal at Sete. Delicious appetisers, cods roe vol au vent (yum), starters were innovative and tasty. Mains a good portion (Beef cheeks and Polenta) and again interesting choices and very good. Wine bar at the front, restaurant at the back and also a garden. Great selection of wines. Some by the carafe. There is a set menu and prices per number of courses. Extra for appetisers. The menu is small and carefully thought out to accommodate diet and taste. We really liked the small menu it gave us confidence that the meals had been carefully chosen for balance originality and choice. Well worth the visit away from Margate Old town on the Northdown Road. Go find it!

Wonderful evening with lovely music and superb service from Chris and his colleagues Cheese plates were very tasty with good sized portions Drinks menu was vast with all staff having great knowledge, fantastic ambience and lighting and a real cost place to relax and enjoy the drinks on offer
