The food is always good here. I don't how authentic to Mexico but it's always fresh delicious and HOT . The servers were very nice and it's usually a nice DIVERSE crowd and staff . Would recommend

Javelina is hands-down one of the best Tex-Mex spots I’ve found in New York City! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The queso is next-level — creamy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. We ordered the Bob Armstrong version, and I could have eaten it with a spoon. The enchiladas and fajitas were packed with bold, authentic flavors that transported me straight to Texas. And the margaritas? Perfectly balanced and dangerously delicious. The food was excellent. I had the salmon tacos, one of the chef's specials. I also had one of the specialty drinks for the month. Our server was very nice and came frequently to our table to ask if we needed anything. We were the last table to leave and they didn't rush us.
