Los restaurantes tex-mex más populares en Streeterville

My boyfriend and I enjoyed having dinner here for my birthday yesterday! ^^🩷🎀🌸🎂🍰

First off, the food was delicious as always. The issues were with the service. One diner clearly stated that they were vegan and requested a cheese was taken off her dish. The dish came with a different cheese on it. Another diner stated they were allergic to pineapple and asked whether the al pastor tacos were cooked together with the pineapples on top. The waiter stated they were not, though after checking with the kitchen found that they are. The food for two diners came out 10 minutes before the other two diners. I love big star, but this was a pretty frustrating dinner.

Enjoyed the food and drinks, service was great but music was very very very loud. We asked twice for it to be turned down :( I would come back only if outdoor seating is open

Finding a place with both great food & drinks for friends visiting from out of state. From the moment we walked until we left, we were impressed with all aspects of Big Star West. Atmosphere was conducive to catching up while enjoying several types of tacos & a pitcher or two of margaritas. Staff kept us fed & served, while giving excellent service. Looking forward to returning for outdoor seating once the weather warms up!
