Japanese | Chinatown,

"What a gem! Delicious, affordable, fun. Fantastic and genuine rendering of Japanese popular cuisine. A great discovery. The grilled skewers were all tasty and cooked to perfection—chicken livers, hearts and gizzards, and two types of beef. The rolls were luscious and surprising—scallops, shrimp, tuna. The yellow tail sashimi was heavenly. Service was impecable. Cannot recommend it more enthusiastically!"See more

Italian | South Philly,

"We have driven past La Nonna plenty of times and never thinking to stop in. We were going to dine at La Fourno ... our go to Italian restaurant, but they are closed until further notice due to a fire in the restaurant. As fate would have it, we chose La Nonna for an evening out and we were both blown away. Upon entering the setting is very charming and the server and manager are warm and friendly. The food is one of the best we have eaten, we ordered salad, fried rice balls, lasagna, cannelloni, wild boar tomato gravy with wide noodles and was even offered a complimentary glass of white wine. Also, the lemon cake dessert was delicious. We will be stopping back again for a wonderful dining experience."See more
