We were welcomed by an amazing staff that looked after us all evening, was very kind and made sure our dietary restrictions were met. However it was quite loud due to a group of people next to us, did dim down our experience, it would've been highly suggested for future customers that are not respecting other people's experience to be told to maintain the volume, food was great oysters could've definitely had less salt and the noodles were a little less undercooked and tasted quite bland, star of the show was definitely the EDAMAME! we loved the chicken curry so much as well and the ambience and vibe was amazing as well, really loved the little coat hangers in the front it was a nice touch.

Lexy is a welcome addition to Melbourne's fine dining. I love the concept of pan asian cuisine. I will certainly be back!

Our second time at Akaiito in two years - and Winston remembered us! The food is a well-considered blend of Japanese and French cuisine. It is expensive, but if you’re looking for an extra- special night out, it’s worth it.
