Best Steak Restaurants in Victoria Park

A fantastic place to enjoy top quality meat and sides, the lava rock experience was amazing and so was the Brussel Sprouts. The wine list was up to our liking and we enjoyed the whole experience, we will be back soon 🍷

We visited Joie Cafe for an early breakfast mid week as the don't offer breakfast over the weekend. I was impressed to find the staff are all French and the food was delicious. Coffee also great. Service let them down a little. While they were very pleasant, they were slow, and there were only 2 tables of 2 at this stage. Coffee came at the same time as the food, it would have been an improved experience on a cold morning for the coffee to come quickly.. and for the heating to be on... even if lovely rugs are provided for knees :)

Lunch Menu is decent value for money ($22 per dish) when taken into account that it's in the CBD area. I had the Fish and Chips. The fish was not too bad, actually! And they were so generous with the chips, I couldn't quite finish them! Some in my party had the Roma Burger(? sorry can't remember the actual menu name) which they were happy with. Staff were very friendly and attentive, 2 thumbs up. Ambiance of the establishment is good. Fittings etc are all nice. If you're in the city area, it's a good place to have a nice lunch.
