This is the gem of a restaurant you save for special occasions or when you simply need to transport yourself to the place that inspired the food creation. The servers are not just carriers of food; they are knowledgeable tour guides for your culinary experience. Great attention is paid to their drinks and their glassware shows that they pay attention to detail. If you like octopus drop whatever you are doing and go there immediately. The main is served with fingerling potatoes and olives. They all go together beautifully but an additional veggie might make it better. That is all that I have ordered on my visits aside from varying the apps. My husband ordered the short rib pasta but it was more of a short rib meal with pasta on the side--ultimately better value if that is what you wanted but he wanted more attention to the pasta part which to his taste needed a little hot pepper oil (request it) to give it more pizazz. This place is now my all time favourite in Barrie.

The food was spectacular . Our waiter Kevin was great . He explained the Atlas knives … something we had never heard about before. Every part of the meal was yummy and the birthday dessert surprise was extra special . Thanks you to “ the piano man” who had everyone singing . Special night . Five star all around .

The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere perfect. Two couples out for dinner enjoyed a delicious meal. Definitely get the carrots and the brussels sprouts. Of course the craft cocktails too.
