All of our meals were excellent except for the chicken pie, which came out in a cast iron frying pan and overdone. The waitress said "oh no, it is supposed to be like that" That person had only a few bites and was not impressed(she is a restaurant owner). The pork shoulder, Jambalaya and Gumbo were outstanding. We would definitely come back if we get up that way again.

Eclectic menu, nice updated atmosphere and good food. With that said, the restaurant needs to invest in a full water purification system as both the drinking water, and all the ice used for the mixed drinks cause the flavor to be terrible - very much a sulphur flavor. It’s a relatively small investment that would allow you to have a complete offering……fwiw

We really enjoy this venue. The bands are consistently good and the food is always good. The owners always make you feel welcome. Sometimes the service is slow but we forgive it because the atmosphere is great and we usually plan on staying to watch the band anyway.
