El Derby, fundado en 1922 y de gestión y propiedad familiar desde 1951, es más que un restaurante. El establecimiento es un gran museo que muestra los mejores momentos de las carreras de caballos.     Great place to grab lunch and people watch from the patios. Before leaving we stopped by the bar for an extra drink during their happy hour and bartender was amazing and friendly. The vibe in the dining room and bar where full of energy and fun. Great food, service and drinks. Great place to take a break from the parks to unwind.

    Our server Byron was great, real southern hospitality! Shrimp and grits were delicious (i’m going back for those) catfish and cornbread two thumbs up. Me personally, not a big fan of the mac & cheese, but my mom loved it so cool. Didn’t really care for the greens either but, that’s just me. Mimosa with the peach ice cubes amazing! After ordering our meal, we we received our food within 15 to 20 minutes very quick and hot. Too full for dessert. I/we’re definitely going back again…….soon, There’s some mo stuff I want to try.
