Best Soul Food Restaurants in Old Town

Great first experience! Food was wonderful! Vibe and music was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Good food, service was decent, food came pretty quickly and was delicious

Atmosphere: nice ambience well Lit but not too bright, great decor for location, great for dates or out with friends. 5 star Dress code : causal, streetwear, jeans or dress pants Crowd: 25 or older, the later the evening more 30 and up ages. More mature. Service: Great, waitstaff was nice, made recommendations, personable and very helpful. 5 star. What ordered Salmon bites in honey glaze 5 star Half jerk (hot) & half honey bbq (sweet not too spicy) short rips 5 star & tenderrrr! 2 mash potatoes 2 stars Yams 5 star Mac & cheese 5 star Cabbage 5 star Not sure what it’s called but I’m gonna call it the nitrogen Patron Tree (4 half pints of different flavored patron (apple, mango, cherry & blue raspberry) u will need other drinks after this. Would I come back here…. Of course!

Jordyn’s Soul Cafe is small, but mighty. The food is delicious and seasoned well. I ordered the smothered pork chops which were juicy, tender and enormous! You get 2 chops and I couldn’t finish 1. My guy ordered the Jordyn’s Special of ribeye and lobster tail, and was very pleased. We shared an order of fried green tomatoes that were very tasty and topped the evening off with a shared dessert of peach cobbler with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream; it was decadent! The service is a little slow, but the vibe is great with a good music in the background. The place is not cheap, but you get hearty portions, and it’s definitely in my opinion worth it. We will definitely return; I hope to eventually taste the elusive side of dressing.

As a first timer I was highly impressed by the Customer Service, we were seated right away, and the wait staff wasted no time with getting water to the table and then asked if we wanted appetizers right off the bat. Once we made our order the food was prepared and brought to the table faster than I expected. The Food was outstanding, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the entrees where and then the main meal was THE BOMB!!! We'll definitely be back.
