The cocktails, food and service are absolutely perfect at Joyce. This was my second visit. Enjoyed the Merry Mayhem Uncle Nearest cocktail (a nice, sweet and smooth take on the old fashioned), started with deliciously fresh and warm cornbread. Followed with a fresh goat cheese and beets salad. Shared the full rack of pork ribs and the mac and cheese - both incredibly good. Loved the light spicy kick on the ribs. I was celebrating my birthday and they brought me a really good banana pie with a candle. Loved the food and the great service.

For me, this is hands down the best southern food in Los Angeles. Their Fried Chicken, either plain or smothered in gravy, is outstanding. The sides are perfect complements to the dishes. If you are going to an event in LA Live (or you just have a hankering for some great southern cooking), this is the place.
