This was our first time to this lovely family-run Italian restaurant. We set up a reservation since it was Saturday evening dinner. It's a nicely decorated place. Our young wait staff was friendly and attentive. We shared Artichokes Francaise - delicious, and an Apple-Arugula-Cranbury-Walnut Salad - also delicious (but they were out of apples - not an exotic ingredient). I enjoyed the Chicken Scarpiello. They accommodated my request to swap house vegetables for the potatoes and it was one of the best I've tasted in a very long time! The ingredients were fresh, and the sauce was outstanding. My wife also enjoyed the Shrimp Marsala and said they did the Marsala sauce just right. It's a BYOB. Everything is ala carte, so it's slightly more than restaurants that include a salad with dinner. But, so-far the prices are within a reasonable range. I recommend this restaurant and plan on going back myself.

Food is fantastic! Prepared as close to dining in southern Italy as one could find in NJ. Sophisticated taste made very simple always have a very consistent meal every time I dine at Taormina. Thank you

We had a delicious early dinner here with our two young daughters. The chicken scarpariello and cucumber salad were our favorites. Loved the guanciale and leek pie too. A perfect 50/50 martini. We appreciated being able to have a very grown-up meal that was kid-friendly as well. I can see how that vibes would get even better after the early bird family-friendly reservation slots -- will be back for a date night w/o the kids!
