Best Seafood Restaurants in The Tropicana

Great service, great ambiance, great food - with leftovers - would visit again.

We had a mostly enjoyable experience thanks to the quality of the food, which was excellent across the board. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and tender, the Caesar salad was crisp and well-dressed, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. The lobster bisque was a standout — rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Service, however, left a bit to be desired. Which is odd because the past two times I’ve been to Craft, service was great. Could’ve just been an off night. After finishing our main course, we sat for about 15 minutes before anyone returned to offer dessert menus. When we declined, it was a little odd to be approached by a different server a few minutes later with dessert menus again. Eventually, our check arrived — about 25 minutes after we’d finished eating. The timing and communication between staff seemed off and detracted slightly from an otherwise excellent meal. Overall, the food was memorable and worth returning for, but a bit more attentiveness from the wait staff would go a long way in rounding out the experience.

This dining experience was, by far, the best of our restaurant choices last week in Vegas. Our party of six enjoyed so many delicious offerings. The potato soup with house-made andouille sausage was a comfort food like no other; we all agreed we would come back to Las Vegas JUST for this dish. Our primary server, Darrin, was the perfect blend of unobtrusive and always ready. Our table conversation was never interrupted, yet our wine and water glasses were magically filled and empty plates removed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who values excellent food and service.

Firstly, this place is not cheap. But the food is good and fresh and the service is great. Ordered a white fish salad and a chef selection sushi. Both dishes were excellent. Dined at the sushi bar and Steve was my host. Great fellow. On another note, I went Kumi at the Mandalay Bay the night before and the waitress told me they only had a limited selection of fish (basically they only had salmon) because of the Coldplay concerts Friday and Saturday. Seriously? Chris Martin and his group ate all your fish?!
