Amazing food and service, highly recommend not to miss if you are visiting Peninsula Papagayo

We dined with a group of 5 to celebrate my birthday. We were the only people in the entire restaurant which seemed a bit odd. We did have excellent service and the food was mostly good. I ordered the special which was filet and shrimp. They did not ask how I wanted it cooked and it came it med-well (not my preference) and the shrimp was overcooked. My companions seemed to enjoy their choices, seafood risotto and chicken casserole. They provided a cake and sang for my birthday which was very nice. The only other downside was the constant smell of the gas from the grill and the smoke. Which seems to be very prevalent in Costa Rica wherever you go.

Great spot with great views. Happy hour drinks, fish of the day and burrito bowl were prepared just right and good prices. Our server was friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We’ll be back
