Excellent early dinner with our family in from Las Vegas and Seattle. Wrapped it in with a visit to the Football Hall of Fame. Turtle soup was great accompanied by a shot glass of Scherry to add for taste. Appetizers of fried oysters, fried Sacchetti, Glacier Bay Crab cakes. Entrees of Halibut, Salmon, Ribeye steak, Scallops, Lobster Tail. Of course the famous Benders Fries and and tossed salads with their very special Red Roquefort dressing (to die for). And their mini chocolate peanut butter sundae….wow! Service was impeccable. Experience did not disappoint. Benders Tavern is an institution in downtown Canton and has maintained that status for multiple decades.

Our first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Beautiful woodwork throughout adds to the atmosphere. Service was professional and friendly. Our party very much enjoyed the food. Mixed drinks were prefect. Looking forward to our dining experience!

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. The shrimp tacos were amazing! It cost a bit more, but is definitely worth it. Bree (sp?) was a fantastic server! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Finally, the ambiance of Social at the Stone House is something you need to experience for yourself! It’s a definite Massillon gem!

I feel it’s as good value for seafood plus it’s hard to find a good spot for seafood in the canton area. There’s a couple of very good servers at RL but we also had some very poor ones too. We do ask to be sat with our favorite servers. I recommend doing the same.
