Purepecha is off the beaten path: a familial dining room with handmade table linens, family photos of lives well lived and loved, and carefully prepared food that is as much about history, Mother Earth, and culture, as it is about perfectly curated sustenance. This home cooked meal by a son, his mother, and grandmother was by far my favorite part about a weekend in Dallas. We savored all four courses of our perfectly filling meal. The Japanese scallop melted in our mouths; the mole sauce tasted like the labor of love that its preparation required; and the tres leches cake oozed the right balance of sweetness and comfort. We are grateful to the chefs for a meal we will not soon forget.

Great food and love the heritage of this restaurant. They truly honor the culture and traditions of the foods they serve.

Friday night. Only two tables at 7. Excellent service. Great food.

We enjoyed our lunch very much - service, ambience and more importantly the food is Mexican origins with a modern twist - excellent!
