The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. Will definitely return. Staff and Manager helpful and friendly. Good menu choice. It's a sports bar, and we hit lucky with the world cup being on, that England had played Mexico early that day, so not many people in! Great space, clean and huge outdoor area too. Well worth a visit.

We had a family birthday dinner for 13 of us and the staff were all absolutely amazing thank you Tara, Siwan, Owen and everyone else who was working on Sunday afternoon. Also thank you to Baz and the kitchen team the food was beautiful. Will definitely be back

We meet there 4 or 5 times a year traveling from North Wales,Northwich, South Manchester & Shrewsbury always find it a good place to meet for lunch and easy to get to for a good meal
