    I had my 40th birthday at The Standard Hotel in Fitzroy, and it was absolutely perfect. We were in the outdoor beer garden, which was warm and welcoming thanks to the heaters and the cosy setup. The space felt private and full of character, with fairy lights, greenery, and that effortlessly cool Fitzroy vibe. The staff were incredible—friendly, attentive, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. Food and drinks were top-notch, with generous portions and great local options. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommended for anyone planning an event or just after a classic pub experience done right.

    Great vibe for catch up with friends. Cosy ambience at cubicle table and room full of happy relaxed diners. Wait staff were cheerful attentive and helpful. Menu was well constructed, and catered for all. Food was well prepared and nicely presented. Very tasty too! Overall a pleasant experience which we will repeat soon. Many thanks to the Naughton team.
