- LLindaSydney •1 review5.0Dined on Jul 5, 2025If you're looking for the ultimate spot to unwind, indulge, and laugh until your stomach hurts (from both the food and the fun), look no further than Gigino. Tucked away like a hidden gem but buzzing with warm energy, this Italian eatery delivered one of the most unforgettable girls' nights we've had in ages. We kicked things off with a round of shared pizzas that was, in a word, perfection. Thinly sliced prosciutto, creamy burrata, marinated olives, and crunchy crostini set the tone for a night of pure indulgence. The pasta? Absolutely divine. Whether it was the truffle mushroom tagliatelle, the classic spaghetti carbonara, or the handmade gnocchi swimming in a velvety pesto sauce, every bite tasted like it came from a nonna's kitchen—with a modern, elevated twist. The portions were generous, but not over-the-top, leaving room for dessert (because girls’ night rules demand dessert). We ended the evening with espresso martinis and a shared dessert plate - it was the Tiramisu and Banoffee, and yes, it lived up to the hype. The ambience was equal parts cozy and chic—dim lighting, rustic wood, and romantic string lights that made every table feel like a little escape to the Tuscan countryside. The staff made the night even better—attentive without hovering, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They gave thoughtful recommendations and didn’t rush us, even when we were giggling over cocktails long after the plates were cleared. Whether you're toasting to something special or just need a night of carbs and conversation, Gigino is the place to go. Trust us—your group chat will thank you xxMore infoGiginoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Fairfield West•4.6
- BBradVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 25, 2025This was my second visit this week. The Vodka Penne was so good that I had another outing planned and wanted to have it again! It was a cold night and although the heaters were on and I was warm enough, my dinner did get cold very fast. We did have to ask for the dessert menu twice and we sat for quite a while without our plates being cleared. I will definitely be back because the food is fabulous and the fact that it is always busy when I have been there is a good sign. Recommend booking.More infoVerace PizzeriaPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Macquarie Park•4.5
