- CChristinavipChicago / Illinois •33 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIncredible food and service. The prosciutto sandwich was great and their pizzas are a hit. That’s why Robert’s gets 5-stars. Bonus points for being nicely decorated for the holidays and for attentive service from Cynthia, our server, the bus staff and managers on the floor. My only complaint is that the folks at the host stand said my table would be a ready in “a couple of minutes”. Perhaps I’m too literal but when I checked back 12-minutes later (which was 12-minutes after my reservation time) I was made to feel like I was asking too soon. Recco: if it’s going to be 15-minutes after my reservation, just say so. “A couple of minutes” implies pretty fast. Honestly, if she said “a few minutes” I probably wouldn’t have checked back when I did. I don’t expect to be seated exactly at my reservation time. I do expect an estimate that’s not woefully understated and I totally don’t expect to be chastised when I check for an update.More infoRobert's Pizza and Dough CompanyPrice: Expensive• Pizzeria• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
- JJamieSt. Louis •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI reserved a table a month before for my daughters' 7th birthday. We drove to Chicago to go to go to the American Girl dog store. An hour before we left to the restaurant I saw a recommendation to order the pizza a head of time so we did. When I showed up to the Restuarant and the wait was out the door long. I was so nervous since I had 9 people with me. We got sat right away and within 15 mins our pizza was out! I was AMAZED. The food was amazing and so was the service. Thank you SO much we will definitely be back!.More infoLou Malnati's - Chicago, Michigan Ave.Price: Moderate• Pizzeria• River North (Chicago)•4.5
- CCourtneyChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI have been eagerly trying to secure a reservation at Pizza Portofino for quite some time, and I was absolutely thrilled when I finally had the opportunity to dine there. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant's coastal ambiance immediately set the tone for a truly exceptional experience. The drinks were superb, and the food was nothing short of extraordinary. I highly recommend the whipped ricotta and fig bruschetta, the crispy parmesan fries, the meatballs, the black truffle and three cheese pizza, and the sausage and fennel pizza – though honestly, I believe you can't go wrong with any dish on the menu. While the food and drinks were phenomenal, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service. From the bartenders, who were so welcoming as we enjoyed a few cocktails while waiting for our table, to our attentive server, every member of the team exceeded expectations. However, it was the manager, Heather, who truly stood out. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel incredibly special, and she went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable.More infoPizzeria PortofinoPrice: Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.7
