A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! I love pizza. I’ve had a lot of different kinds. There’s only a handful that are amazing. The pizza at Scarrs is like a combination of those few epic pizzas all rolled into one. The crust sauce and cheese are out of this world amazing. The atmosphere to include the store front and neighborhood only add to the ambiance. I’ll have to go back everytime I’m in NYC.

Cozy, warm, basic staple food but tasty and well prepared. The tagliata was a very pleasant surprise! Will def go again. Great selection of wine as well.

I had a wonderful experience. We had a table for eight. I had reservations before hand they sat us right away. The food was excellent. The service we got was very good. They were right on the ball the table spacing was very good in the dining area. and the prices were very fair. Nothing too expensive except for the steak otherwise my party had a very fine dining experience. I would recommend it.
