    il Carciofo is BEAUTIFUL. It’s open and airy and has great classic Chicago Italian restaurant vibes but in a modern open space. The food is amazing. Classic dishes like carbonara and handmade pastas that are simple but done at an exceptionally high level and quality. It felt warm and homey but still so creative. Must gets: - Carciofo Alla Guida - maybe the coolest and unique preparation of artichokes I’ve ever had. Delicious and lemony and crispy. - Pesce Spada Crudo - Joe Flamm does crudo better than anyone and I’ll fight you on that - Rigatoni Alla Carbonara - the perfect al dente rigatoni with the most luxurious eggy guanciale carbonara Can’t wait to be back to try many, many more things on this menu.

    This was my first time here. The food was amazing I would definitely dine here again. The restaurant was decorated very nice for Christmas. We sat in the igloos outside and it was very nice. Only thing I thought was strange was the restaurant didn't do any desert or anything for Birthdays. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and there was nothing done for it.
