Best Pizzerias in Bear Mountain

We've eaten here multiple times. Have to think ahead to get a reservation. I don't do well on the day of. We got this on Friday for Saturday at 7. We arrived about 5 minutes early but were seated right away. It was pretty busy, with only a few open tables. Waiter stopped by quickly and asked if we needed glasses and drinks. We brought some beer so we got chilled glasses and water. Bread, butter and little garlic knots came quickly. We ordered a 10" pizza and the baked clams as apps. Both were great. Love the baked clams - great texture to the topping, not huge clams, but the smaller ones that you can get in one scoop of the fork. The main meals - chicken balsamico, ricotta stuffed penne and baked ziti - came out appropriately timed. All our meals were good, as always. Some leftovers for today :) Great local restaurant that's become one of our favorites.

what can I say - we went there 3 nights in a row and we live 25 minutes away. Food and service is excellent. Pizza is just like you get in Italy - food is top notch

Like all the Serafina’s I’ve been to in NYC, Serafina Scarsdale didn’t disappoint. Spaghetti squash was on point and Brussels sprout salad was nice. Winner of the lunch was the Dr Green fresh pressed juice! Absolutely fabulous.

I've been wanting to eat here for a long time so brought my west coast sister and nephew who were craving NY pizza. Our server was awesome! The front room has a funky, lively vibe. The food was ok. My nephew had the margarita, sis had the lemon pizza and I had the pepperoni version. For someone who ate often at a famed Bushwick establishment, Parlor is only 80% as good by comparison. The crust here is too dense for me. Our salad was great but the calamari order was over-fried and our drinks were poor approximations of an old fashioned. Maybe it was just an off night given other reviews have inspired me to put this on my "must go" list. Still better than most pizza in lower Westchester and the location is iconic Rivertown so I'd say give it a try.
