Absolutely a wonderful dining experience! Hugely generous portions of 2 delectable, juicy kabobs, along with nice small portions of vegetables (beets, red cabbage slaw, sliced onions, roasted tomato). Beautifully plated with amazing tahdig saffron rice. Appetizer of fried eggplant with walnuts, caramelized onions and yogurt with toasty sesame pita bread was delicious! Spinach salad with pomegranates was large and fresh. Drinks were generous and excellent. Service was warm, attentive, and very welcoming. To top it all off, the price was very affordable! Recommend highly and will return again!

Yesterday, we had lunch at Akbar Joojeh in North Vancouver with our family and three Canadian guests, and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a beautiful traditional Persian décor that creates a warm and authentic atmosphere. The service was excellent — the young team was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Most importantly, the food was delicious and of excellent quality. Our Canadian guests also really enjoyed both the food and the Persian atmosphere, which made the experience even more special for us. The restaurant was relatively quiet and comfortable, making it a very pleasant place to enjoy a relaxed lunch with family and friends. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend Akbar Joojeh to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Persian food in North Vancouver. We will definitely visit again!

The food was excellent and was more than my friend and I could eat (take home packages for both of us). They were very busy on a Saturday night and the service was a bit slow when we getting ready to leave to settle the bill. Otherwise, a great meal and would definitely go back.
