The overall ambience was fabulous, and most of the food was delicious. However, dessert was a disappointment. We ordered the black orange trifle, which neither looked nor tasted like a trifle. It was served in a white soup bowl, with a charcoal-grey mixture that was far too sweet. On top was what looked like the underside of a mushroom, along with basil and what resembled red onion jelly, but was orange and basil. Visually unappealing and not at all enjoyable, resembled something a baby would be served. That said, everything else was lovely, and it’s still a place worth visiting for a treat.

We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious. It was a nice relaxed environment with plenty of time to chat and enjoy our meal at our own pace.

Excellent food in a lovely venue - staff were lovely and very good value for money on early evening (pre-theatre) menu.
