I’ve been to many restaurants in Melbourne. A lot of places tend to feel the same. But I think the team at Malin have done an outstanding job differentiating themselves from others on the scene. Atmosphere was great, service was sensational and the food was a spiritual experience. I’m still blown away by some of the flavours, especially coming from French heritage. The tartlet is a flavour bomb and a must have. The Moroccan gnocchi and Ballottine chicken were executed very well. Every dish was thoroughly thought out and I’ve been trying to find the words to express how good everything was. I can’t fault anything. If you’re reading this, my advice would be to go and try this place out. You won’t regret it.

The food and service are excellent. Each dish was a delight and the staff very helpful. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service, excellent food. We had a lovely server look after us who impressed us with her interaction with the some members of the deaf community sitting next to us, she was very friendly and responsive. The food was delicious. I had the prawn bisque spaghettini and apple tart for dessert, we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive, I couldn't fault anything, although it is on the pricey side.

The environment is quite nice and there aren't many people. The steak I ordered was medium but already had a burnt taste. The fries that came with it were very delicious.
