Best Southwest American Restaurants in Stony Point

The portions of food seem smaller and price is higher, they were out of flour tortillas at 530pm, and the service was lacking, drinks sat empty for some time. Ambiance was nice and restaurant is kid friendly.

Overall we like this restaurant, but feel that it is slightly overpriced for the value. We really liked about 80% of the food we’ve had, but had a couple of dishes that were average (not bad just not great). This last time the restaurant was very slow (Saturday night) and two waiters were a little pushy trying to upsell (ie add ons and more drinks). It wasn’t aggressive, but rubbed me the wrong way a little. Outside of that, the staff is very friendly and the service is great. If the prices were lower (food and cocktails) we would go back more frequently. However, given the higher prices, will keep our visits to once or twice a year. One suggestion, maybe they could offer a lower priced menu for delivery or takeout only, as the food is good, just too expensive for what it is.

If you are looking for a delicious, authentic meal than El Asadero is the place. The food, service and drinks are fantastic. The staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere leads to a fun outing. Highly recommend for any type of celebration or a simple night out.

Fun festive restaurant with delicious Mexican food and drinks! Indoor/outdoor seating and easy parking. Great place!

Great food and service! I had chicken and shrimp fajitas and we had cheese quesadillas as an appetizer. Others in my party had enchiladas. We all had dessert- peanut butter pie, chocolate cookie sundae, strawberry cheesecake- all excellent. Great coffee as well!
