Best Southwest American Restaurants in Sugar Land

Picos is consistently excellent, but it's even better when they have soft shell crabs available. They are the best in town!

Food was amazing and we were seated at a round table, my fave! The staff was also very nice and amazing, however, they sat a large group right next to us. I could barely hear my family talking with the big group next to us. It wasn’t their fault but I would have appreciated the big group to be sat somewhere else in the dining room where there was plenty of opened tables.

Surprisingly not busy on Cinco de Mayo but the service was a little slow.

This was my first time at Escalante's. I judge Tex-Mex restaurants by their tortillas and fajitas. The beef fajitas were excellent—some of the best I’ve had. The tortillas were made fresh and good. The guacamole, made at the table, was a nice touch. I will definitely return.

Food was good as always, and the modifications that my wife asked for were taken care of. Service was excellent.
