Best Southwest American Restaurants in Hicksville

Very good choices on the menu. We had reservations and arrived a little early but were seated right away. Very quick service.Salsa and chips are brought to the table upon arrival. Ordered drinks and they came right away.Same with the meal. Ordered it and it came quickly. Rice and beans are served with every meal. Ordered a side of street corn which was very good. Had their mixed enchiladas- chicken , chorizo and skirt steak. Steak was very tender. The entire meal was very flavorful.

We had a reservation and there were many empty tables when we arrived so we asked for a booth. They flat out refused and said they were for larger groups. It was 2 of us and the tables for 2 are tiny. The booths aren’t even that big. That was an immediate damper. Then we waited 20 solid minutes to be acknowledged by a server. We had to ask a bus boy to get us someone. When our server finally arrived we had the table side guacamole, which was fantastic. And then we had enchiladas and tacos which again were delicious and fantastic!! The food is a solid 5. The service was great after we got acknowledged. But we were still really disappointed about not getting a booth since there were several other couples seated at booths after we arrived because there were no more tiny tables left. Food - 5 Crappy initial impression- 2 Service before we spoke up - 0 Service after we spoke up - 5

I always have an excellent experience at Caracara. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the best margaritas! The guacamole made at the table is just wonderful.

Love this restaurant. Went to celebrate my birthday. Got a skinny margarita, pomegranate, not on menu but they can make for you!!!
