First off, the food was delicious as always. The issues were with the service. One diner clearly stated that they were vegan and requested a cheese was taken off her dish. The dish came with a different cheese on it. Another diner stated they were allergic to pineapple and asked whether the al pastor tacos were cooked together with the pineapples on top. The waiter stated they were not, though after checking with the kitchen found that they are. The food for two diners came out 10 minutes before the other two diners. I love big star, but this was a pretty frustrating dinner.

Absolutely excellent food, service, value. Do not miss this place in Lincoln Park. The chef and his team is outstanding and the service is warm and highly personalized.

Enjoyed our visit to Pilsen Yards. It was my second visit and it was as good as the first! Good food and drinks, fun atmosphere with great DJs. The service we had was great from each person who came to our table. Will be back again. The welcome at the front desk was very nice as well.

We love El Tapatio. My daughter chose to celebrate her birthday with brunch on the patio and it did not disappoint. Service is always top notch, food is great and the fact that they serve brunch daily is terrific. There are plenty of weekend brunches in the neighborhood but not many during the week.

Went there after today’s cubs game, we made a reservation and were sat immediately. Server took a few minutes but that is to be expected so many tables arriving at once. Got our app and drinks super quickly, she must have gotten busy bc took a while to grab our main orders. My partners food came, and then mine never did. As I was trying to find the server I noticed her talking to a manager, he came back and said my meal would be comped and it should be alright, as to which I had said it’s okay I’m okay having this taken off the bill, but they brought over a gift card for us to return, and I really appreciated it. I understand they were probably extremely slammed all at once! I’ll definitely be returning as they really took care of us after!
