Populairste Mediterrane restaurants in Felbridge

I was delighted to find a restaurant of this quality in Horley, not a town I had visited before. For medical reasons I did not use my car but had to come by train and walk around town, a tiring experience for a 77 year old. I looked up restaurants on various websites and found that Shiraz was always listed as the best. I made a reservation because I had no idea of what the lunchtime trade was like. My appointment ended early and so my arrival was about 45 minutes earlier than my booking. I was the first customer and was warmly welcomed by the waitress, who was excellent throughout my meal and is to be commended. I was offered a drink before the meal whilst I looked at the menu. Unfortunately I ordered a Gin and Dry Martini, my drink of choice when I needed pepping up: and so I ended up with one Martini and one Gin and Tonic! However it was not a drink that the bar staff could understand. This is the only reason I did not give a 5-star rating. Unaccustomed to Turkish Food, it took me a while to work out what I wanted and was congratulated on my choice, I was very pleased with the quality of the food, how it was served, its appearance and the taste. Very professional cooking with much technical expertise. I was introduced to the chef who was charming. I selected a glass each of a white and a red wine, which were served correctly, went well with the meal and were a great success. I recognised the white wine from Ch de Pellehaut, which is in Gascony. That property also produces fine Armagnac, which was not included on the drinks menu. The Argentinian malbec was just as a malbec should be. It was time for me to leave - the bill was extremely reasonable for quality I had received. I walked back to the station and just got there in time for my intended train, even stopping on the way at a bench, where I had a little "ZZZZ" on the way. A very successful day but above all a fine lunch at a restaurant that is to be highly recommended.

Fantastic food. Fantastic staff. Really calm holiday vibe. Beautiful decor. Parking in roads nearby locally is fairly easy. I've been here a few times it's always perfect.

Food was good, we were missing part of a sharer we had ordered. When we asked for it the server seemed quite annoyed and said so we want 'more bread and dip' so we explained we never had any come out with the two sharers we had ordered. There was a bit of a huff as they walked off. Other than that one moment it was all lovely food and the other serving staff were great, but that moment did make us feel a bit odd! Some Places that you sit, as the sun sets it does get in your eyes a far bit! Would return again, absolutely!
