It’s a family-run place on Staines Road in Feltham, one that doesn’t try to scream from the rooftops about the quality of the food because the quality of the food speaks for itself. Begin your meal with a selection of hot tapas then consider a main of fresh fish – this is a Portuguese restaurant, after all – with the grilled king prawns served with baby calamaris being a dish we’d certainly recommend. O Calhau Feltham offers as well a fine selection of wine and the staff will be more than happy to help you choose one to pair with your food. In this part of suburban London, not far at all from Heathrow airport, we don’t know of a better Portuguese restaurant. Reserve a table now.

It was only the second night and so we knew there could be teething problems. Our food was great. Our server Jessie was attentive and thorough. Delay with food but understandable so early on. Great atmosphere. Jessie and Max made sure we had a great evening and we will return
