I give Philia restaurant in East Meadow an excellent rating. My husband and I went there last night and had such a delicious meal. We shared the dip sampler for an appetizer. For our entrees, my husband ate the halibut special (the risotto with spinach and dill was sooo delicious!) I ate the Scottish salmon which came with balsamati rice which was also delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly (medium but still juicy). I can't forget the pear martini...soooo good! If you haven't been yet, I'd highly recommend you try this fabulous restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Our food was delicious. The flavors were great love the Greek salad and my fish. My only disappointment was listing brown rice on the menu when it is not brown rice it’s white rice with seasoning.Our waiter could not be more helpful in choosing food from the menu and letting us know what ingredients were in certain foods overall great experience

I enjoyed every single bite I had during my dinner at The Guesthouse. I don’t drink alcohol and they had a whole section of mocktails on their drinks menu. We had the crab cakes- so tender and fresh. I had the beggar’s purse pasta and it was so incredible- comforting and flavorful. And the dessert: churro cake. 11 out of 10! Will absolutely be back!

Stopped by on a whim. Wanted something other than italian or Chinese. We were very pleasantly surprised. Small and unassuming from the outside, it is very stylish and cozy inside. The service was friendly and professional. The food was excellent. Very fresh and tasty. The Greek salad was very fresh. I tried the salmon kabobs and it was delicious. Prepared perfectly. The prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely return to sample other newbies items.
