Great Sunday menu. We were a party of three adults and shared a sharing platter starter which was a selection of tasty nibbles. Then we enjoyed some delicious roast dinners (two beef and one chicken) with a shared side of cauliflower cheese. After this we were too full for a dessert

We decided to try somewhere new for my wife’s birthday. The Gables was just the ticket, very much a mature audience (I think Sade was playing at one point). The food was really good, kudos to the chef. The staff were attentive, but not overbearing. There were a few steps so maybe be mindful if limited mobility.

As always fantastic service and food . New things on the menu.
