We went to the fortitude Valley restaurant on a Wednesday night and were warmly greeted as we entered. After being seated, it was simple to order using the QR code at the table. Our drinks arrived promptly and then the food appeared shortly thereafter. We ordered the 57 group set for two people and then the food started and kept on coming. The portion sizes were generous and every mouthful was tasty. They would certainly be no complaints of anyone being hungry after eating this which is great value for money. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy and therefore not particularly loud as it can be in some restaurants with large groups of people. I would definitely recommend bird’s nest to anyone looking for a good tasty Japanese restaurant.

I ate the set BNE menu and was delicious. A pitty no one was allocated to seat you so it got confusing waiting on the front for a while. Besides that all good. Vibes are nice there

Ordering through the pad was a bit confusing. We accidentally ordered a jar of beer instead of a glass, but the staff said we couldn’t cancel it, even though there were just two adults (my husband and me) and our 10-year-old child. That felt a bit inconsiderate.

Good quality food. The set menu tends to restrict your choice a bit, but you can order additional dishes. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The bill at the end was a little higher than expected as drinks are quite pricy.
