Novelli is a restaurant serving Northern Italian and continental cuisine. While Southern Italian cuisine lends itself toward seafood and the Mediterranean, Northern Italy's cuisine is more in line with that of Spain and Greece. Novelli's interior is beautiful, and when most people think of a fine Italian restaurant, this is what they imagine. Candles sit as centerpieces on white tablecloths, and the walls are tastefully decorated with art inspired by Italian vineyards and farms. Novelli Head Chef Rob Rold has put together a menu that celebrates the very best of Italian ingredients. Starters include a grilled Portobello mushroom with gorgonzola in a balsamic reduction as well as Kobe beef meatballs in a san marzano tomato sauce. The entrées are just as interesting, with a few price cut steaks available as well as a delicious brick chicken: a Cornish game hen roasted with garlic and herbs.
