    This was our first time dining at Il Sorrento Restaurant. The place was completely renovated from what was previously a Mexican restaurant. The decor is gorgeous and modern. The service was attentive. We shared the mussels in a white wine sauce as an appetizer. It was good, but nothing special. My wife had the squid ink seafood pasta and I had the beef lasagna. We tried each other’s dish and agreed that both were excellent. We had no room for dessert. The price was on point for the quality and quantity of the meal. We will definitely return to try other items from their menu.

    The porter house steak for 2 was just enough for 4 people with asparagus, caesar salad for 2, one order of French fries. Everything was delicious but the French fries could have been served on a platter instead of a bowl so they would not be squashed--they needed to be somewhat crispier. the service was terrific, the steak absolutely delicious. I think the porter house for 3 is plenty and for 4 with the sides was just enough . We always enjoy eating here when we want Steak. I started with the Shrimp cocktail which is always out of this world incredible!! Go and share. S.F.
