A nice lunch with an old friend at Cole’s Dockside in Great Kills. We started with Paper Airplanes (bourbon, Amaro Averna & lemon juice) We shared the eggplant rollatini as an appetizer. For mains, she had the blackened mahi mahi and I had the filet of sole Francese. Too bad the weather wasn’t better! The view would have been incredible.

What a nice place to get together with friends and have a great meal. A nice variety of items, reasonably priced and service is excellent as always. A definite must try if you haven't already.

We had a nice lunch at Angelina’s Kitchen. The service was great - since it was not crowded we were able to sit and chat over a glass of wine before ordering lunch.

We went to Corrado’s for my birthday with my wife, son, and mother in law. The food is excellent here! Presentation was very good as well. I ordered the skirt steak and Italian egg roll for appetizer. I had a mixed drink which was perfect. It’s a Saturday night so the place was loud. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner, this isn’t the place. There was a communion and the DJ was playing some good music but then everyone was talking louder to compete with the volume. Then the second DJ walked in to set up and started his set after the party let out. He played a good selection of music. The roaming photographer was a nice touch and he did a good job taking pictures which we bought two from him. Service was very good and the wait staff is attentive without being intrusive.
