Best Italian Restaurants in Crafers

Beautiful atmosphere, incredible food. Service was warm and friendly, and the chef's love of pasta was evident- the most pillowy, delicious gnocchi was a highlight. Bellissimo!

Always impressed with this place! We had interstate visitors and two dogs and booked an outside table. The dishes we ordered were enjoyed immensely as was the coffee! Such an interesting menu. The staff are lovely and the service excellent. My top go-to restaurant in the King William Road area. Highly recommended.

We are visitors from Victoria and chose to go to Roma because it’s Callum’s restaurant. Danny was our server and he was helpful with choosing our wines and explaining the menu. My husband chose the crab linguini and I chose the pork ragu pasta. Unfortunately, it was chilli forward and we struggled with this, though we still ate it all as the pasta was delicious. We react strongly to chilli and this wasn’t mentioned on the menu that it contained chilli, which was disappointing. Danny was so concerned for us and kept apologising, it wasn’t his fault, but moving forward, I’m sure the fact these dishes contain chilli will be brought to the diner’s attention. Dessert was delicious, so we finished our meal on a high.

You can always count on Va Bene for a quality meal. Only criticism is the noise level. Almost impossible to talk to the person across from you when it is busy.
