Sula on Davie is a gem of a restaurant—but be warned, it’s small and fills up fast, so a reservation is a must. This isn’t your typical Indian fare. The menu leans inventive, with regional dishes and bold flavours you won’t find at your average curry house—so come ready to try something new. Our server, Jithin, was fantastic: friendly, efficient, and full of great suggestions. The Samosa Pinwheels were a knockout—classic samosa flavours reimagined on crisp tart shells. The Chicken Masala Tarts and Banana Blossom starter were both unique and delicious. For mains, the Chicken Chettinad was a standout—spicy, rich, and deeply satisfying. Prices are reasonable, and the ambience is lively—even midweek, there’s a real buzz to the place. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved Peya! The burrata sweet potato was heavenly, and the rasam mussels with airy garlic naan were packed with flavor. Drinks were top-notch—creative and delicious thanks to JC at the bar. Service was warm and personal, with great conversation from the owner, Ashwini. A unique French-Indian fusion spot that I highly recommend!

I’ve dined here several times bringing different guests each time, and it’s been fantastic every time. The dishes are fresh and full of flavour, and the cocktails are fun and delicious. Our server was very attentive and helpful in making our menu choices. My faves tonight were the dal makhani, tandoori wings and the tandoori naan. Lots of non meat options too. The restaurant was busy as usual so the ambiance was great. Highly recommend.
