We had an excellent meal at Patiala during our stay in New York. We had the chutney taster, followed by the black pepper lamb starter for my husband. For mains I had the butter chicken which was wonderful - rich and flavoursome. My husband had the shrimp vindaloo - it came with a warning for being spicy and unusually for the USA, it lived up to its billing! It was a very hot dish and akin to a vindaloo or even a phal that we get in the UK. My husband loves a hot curry and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
