Great location, great food, and the set menus are quite generous. Drinks like the McAllan seemed very expensive to me—twice what I paid at the Shangri-La in Tainan. But otherwise, it’s highly recommended, and their hours are quite flexible compared to most restaurants in Taiwan, which tend to have very strict schedules. The host was very friendly and made an effort to communicate with us in English, which really adds to the place's appeal.

Best Japanese charcoal grill in town. The meat was very tasty and fresh. The sauce was amazing. Server was friendly.
