We visited Black Rock Steak Restaurant in Clacton as a group of six to celebrate our anniversary, and from start to finish the experience was outstanding. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was absolutely first class. A special mention must go to the young trainee waiter, who was truly outstanding. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care for customers really stood out. He has a fantastic attitude, and we wish him every success in his career – he's going to do incredibly well. The two female waitresses were equally exemplary. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured every little detail was taken care of throughout the evening. Nothing was too much trouble, and their excellent teamwork made the whole experience feel effortless. It's rare to find a restaurant where both the food and service are of such a consistently high standard. We all left feeling thoroughly looked after and very happy. Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary celebration so memorable. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Black Rock to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

We visited 4th July, we ordered the pinwheel Cumberland sausage with bubble n squeak mash cake ,Tender stem broccoli in a sweet red onion gravy ,was presented lovely and the taste was beautiful would highly recommend, was a difficult choice as so many other delicious alternatives ,the service was great and the atmosphere good ,we also had bakewell tart and vanilla custard for pud which was equally delicious, will definitely visit again!

Brought my mother for 99th birthday lunch, Good Wheelchair access Staff very helpful, food excellent and good value, location & view superb.

Great service , tasty food and reasonably priced with a lovely view of the river cam . Can’t wait to be back!
